About the Orchestra
The Upbeat Youth Orchestra (UYO) program offers students from a diverse set of communities throughout the region with an equal opportunity to enhance their musicianship through orchestra playing. Students learn that working together, regardless of the neighborhood you are from, brings the greatest success. Students attend weekly rehearsals in Nashua and together they prepare several concerts each year.
The orchestra program begins with a beginner ensemble. As students develop skills, they move on to the intermediate ensemble and the Youth Orchestra. (Learn about our other orchestras here.)
