We extend the normal school year program of group lessons
and ensembles with a summer camp enrichment program for
one week. During the pandemic we are offering an in-person
weekly ensemble program, with masks, with just 3-5 students
per ensemble. We also offer the option of additional weekly
lessons either in Zoom or in person.
In addition to daily group string instrument lessons (3 in a
group) and ensembles (15 in an ensemble), our summer camp
includes classes on music and movement, theory and
composition, ear training and rhythm, and for the most
advanced, an All State audition preparation class. We
emphasize group learning; campers experience that great
success is achieved by working together. On the last day we
have an informal concert for parents and friends.
