Barbara has been an enthusiastic supporter of Upbeat NH since its early years, inspired by a lifelong appreciation for symphonic music cultivated within her family. A Nashua native, she retired after a 20-year career teaching science at Elm Street and McCarthy Middle Schools. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Education in Secondary Education. In retirement, she has deepened her commitment to helping young musicians build confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love of music through performance. She is honored to support Upbeat NH’s mission and values the profound impact the organization continues to make in the lives of students and families across the region.
